Hi Frank! Thanks for the encouraging words. There are SO MANY factors that each church faces as they try to navigate this, including church politics and actual politics. I'm excited that you're taking this seriously and I'd love to chat if you're interested. Not that I've gotten anything figured out yet, but I'm scheming pretty heavily right now and can't wait to see what lies ahead! If you're interested, you can contact me at markbeuving@gmail.com.

I'm not theologically trained, I am not in ministry, I'm just a lay person who loves Jesus and is somewhat frustrated with the lack of.....this kind of thought, creativity, and enthusiasm....from my own local church. I am going to eagerly read your book and maybe see if it would be possible to have church-like groups at my own home and just figure it out. I mean, 1st century Gentiles had to figure it out, right? Any practical advice?

Church today looked like several of us meeting in the parking lot of a local seniors' community and distributing donated masks door to door. Church during the past eight weeks has happened in my seminary class project group of 4 students from different time zones, genders, ages, and races. We met weekly to investigate a controversial theological issue and became dear friends as we laughed, talked, and prayed together. Can't wait to read your book.
